Tomorrow’s Business Leaders is an entirely volunteer-run organization comprised of young professionals in New York City who work for top firms in a variety of industries including finance, marketing, technology and media. It is run by an Executive Board as well as other volunteers who have taken positions to help lead the organization. These leaders of our organization comprise TBL's Management Team.

The Management Team oversees day-to-day operations and leads the development of TBL. Former Executive Board members and Founders stay involved as Advisory Board members and consultants to the Executive Board.

Each school has a volunteer School Leader and/or Class Leaders who serve as on-the-ground managers and providers of feedback for the Executive Board.

To meet us, sign up for our mailing list and come to our social events hosted every semester.

Meet Our Founders

Kristin E. Meyer, TBL Co-Founder and Advisory Board Chair, is a student in the Class of 2009 at Harvard Business School. Previously, she worked as an investment banking associate in J.P. Morgan's marketing and communications group. She has also worked as an analyst in J.P. Morgan's real estate and lodging investment banking group and as an analyst for Parks, Paton, Hoepfl & Brown Energy Investment Banking in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Harvard College in 2003, with a degree in economics, cum laude, and citations in German, French and Spanish.

Rob Susman, TBL Co-Founder and Director, is an Analyst at investment firm Baron Capital in New York. Previous work experience includes four years at Morgan Stanley as an equity research associate and, later, as a member of the firm’s Strategic Planning Group, where he worked for the CEO. Rob also interned at McKinsey & Company and successfully launched and sold TripUp.com, an online social networking site for travel enthusiasts. Rob received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2007 and an A.B. in Economics magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2001.

Richard Wegener founded TBL in 2004 to introduce business and personal finance subjects to New York City public school students.  Through his work with a volunteer mentorship organization, he realized that many students were interested in pursuing careers in business but few understood what skills were required for these careers. After determining that teaching through schools in a classroom environment could reach the most students, he organized a group of young professionals to teach weekly classes at Manhattan Village Academy. Richard currently resides in Chicago and works for Citadel Investment Group and remains involved in TBL through an advisory role. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
